Tony is running a hardtail 1973 xlch sportster. Its light, its fast and it has the overwhelming competitive advantage that if it catches fire and burns there will be lots of people from team KOTH who will enjoy watching it burn because it is a pain in the ass. Providing traction at the back is a 120/90-16 Dunlop K460 from Motorcycle Tyre Warehouse. At $128.50 it is a very affordable way of getting a bike onto a hill. Unlike chains, the tyre is road rated so you don't need to be off the road while you are testing hills (noting on race day you will need to make modifications like no headlights, indicators, glass etc.).
